Here's what the humans have to say about me:
He is a foxhound mix (guessing), 11 months old, 65lbs, healthy, fully vaxxed, up to date with tick and flea meds, chipped, house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands and learns fast. He is looking for a home with no kids.
He was rescued as a small puppy from a neglectful situation - his mother was starving and the whole litter was rescued. He spent 5 months in the shelter and then went to a foster home, and then to his current family. He has come a long way, but he still has some fear and skittishness. He takes a while to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you he will show a lot of affection. He loves to sleep with his head on your lap. Unfortunately, he is particularly nervous and defensive with children, showing signs of fear aggression. Living in a house with children seems to be making this worse, so we want to rehome him before worse problems develop. He can be a great dog, he just needs patience and calm adult energy.
