My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Velma is a great girl who is working on all of her manners and social skills so she can find her family. She's crate trained and uses a doggie door, she does okay on a leash but is getting better every day!

Velma's foster mom reports that she most likely had never been allowed inside a house, but she has gotten more comfortable and is relaxed inside now...but still needs to work on her manners a little.

She rides in a car great and loves people!

This pet has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and is on heartworm and flea prevention and has adoption fee of $500. If you are interested, please complete an adoption application at saveastray.org.

We use the most animal-friendly pet transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. They are the best. The transport fee is included in the adoption fee.
