My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Quinton and I am a cute little white and gray tabby boy who just wants to be loved! I was so afraid when I was finally rescued and brought to my foster mommy. All I wanted to do was get away from everybody and hide. But she has brought out the sweetness in me! Where I used to hiss and run, now I run to her and let her pick me up and I purr like crazy. My foster mommy lets me Sleep with her now and I just curl up in her arms and purr and give her nose kisses. She did tell me though that she's gonna have to start using the laser pointer at night to wear me out so I don't attack her toes when she's sleeping! It's just so hard because they're just so wiggly! Sure I will be afraid when I go to my forever home but it won't take me long to adjust! I'm so cute and chubby and I'm just a happy little boy once I know I'm loved. I love to play! Love love love to play! And especially love that laser pointer! I also love love love to eat! Will you take me home and give me enough time to feel safe and to fall in love with you? I will love you forever! Love, Quinton!

Please be aware our rescue's policy is that kittens be adopted in pairs when there aren't other furry pets in the home for the kitten to bond with.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Our adoption process is not first-come, first-serve. Our goal is for the right fit -- for the adopter and our fosters.

2.

Interview

We will contact you either my phone or email to go over your application.

3.

Approve Application

Once your application has been approved, we will work with you to set up a time to meet your potential new family member.

4.

Meet the Pet

If you do not have a specific cat in mind, we can set up a meet and greet to introduce you to several of our wonderful fosters.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

6.

Pay Fee

$150 donation fee, subject to change at any time. This fee is nonrefundable after 14 days.

7.

Take the Pet Home

Be sure to arrive at your meet and greet with a carrier - just in case you decide to finalize the adoption that day.

Additional adoption info

Our rescue policy requires all kittens and cats to be spayed and neutered before adoption. If you are interested in one of our kittens who are too young to be spayed or neutered, we will accept a pre-adoption application, but will not finalize until post surgery and recovery. Adoption fee must be paid to hold the kitten(s).

More about this rescue

7WHSKRS stands for 7 Women Helping Save Kitties Rescue Society. It is our goal to help as many abandoned, stray and injured kitties in the Winter Garden area as we can through in-home fostering and our supporters.

Among us, we have decades of rescue experience. And even though we're in a pandemic, we decided to start our own rescue, because cats still need our help. And to do what we do, we need your help too! Donations and fosters are always needed.
