Ted arrived at MHRR in July 2019 from Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter. He was adopted but returned in Feb 2022. Ted is often considered a "grump" but that doesn't mean he doesn't want some love! He does like head rubs when you enter his area, and races over for treats when you've got them. He is also great with his litterbox and is used to being a free roam bunny with Clover. He is used to gentle dogs and is fine if they don't try to bother him. He's a big guy and generally not very active. If approached when cornered, he will grunt and lunge at first but doesn't make much of an effort to bite (though surely he would if you continued to "pester" him!). Once you get to know him and get some head rubs in, you'll feel honored and accomplished to be part of his circle! We estimate Ted to be about 6 years old. He does tend to get/keep sore hocks so we have ordered him "hock socks" to wear. He loves his bestie Clover and they must be adopted together.
