Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***Fenced Yard Required for All Dogs***
Please Note - Styx is being cared for by Fayette County Animal Rescue in Rossville, TN.
Adopter's Costs:
Adoption Fee $95.00
Transport Fee $150.00
Health Certificate $25.00
Styx is one happy guy, as you can see by the big smile on his face! He is always wagging his tail and he has to say hello to every person he sees. But he wasn't always like that. When we rescued him, he was in a lot of pain because he had been shot in his leg. His leg was swollen and he couldn't put any weight on it. We had to amputate the leg but that was no problem for Styx, he gets along fine without it! He was in a foster home for a few weeks and his foster mom told us this about him, "He is awesome with the kids! And he’s great at running and jumping! Not overwhelmed by all the kids—he likes to have fun! I haven’t seen any way that he’s limited really with his 3 legs. Loves to snuggle. A great companion. He’s house trained. We’re working on the crate training but he’s very smart. Very polite. Doesn’t beg for food or grab things from the kids. He’s so sweet!" Styx does okay with cats and with some dogs however he really prefers people. He definitely doesn't like other dogs around his food (I don't either).
Styx's date of birth is 5/14/2019 and he weighs about 71 pounds.

• Fenced yard and home inspection for all animals; we will complete an onsite fence/home check prior to completing the adoption or ask for a video that shows the fence. (We do not accept invisible fences.)
• Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention) We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s).
• If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 3 months of heartworm prevention
• If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc.
