My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gidget is 1 year old and we are calling her a “special needs” girl. We are posting her now as it may take a while to find the right family for her. You see - Gidget came to us with the possibility of ending up in a wheel chair. She was in incontinence and her back legs would give out on her quickly. She is currently living on ranch and she has over come the odds at this time being in a chair. Gidget is ok being on leash and will walk around with you or lay down next to you and give you those drive by kisses, just to tell how thank you for loving her. The other dogs and all the action that happens at the ranch has attributed to her success. She came to us wearing diapers and today we rarely have to put them on. We do get a dribble as we are heading out the door sometimes. She has built up her core muscles and she can keep up if not out run the rest of the pack. She currently is attending chiropractic visits now every 8 weeks to make sure we keep Gidget on the same track. And this would be best for her new family to continue and there is a fund that has been set up to help with this. Gidget enjoys the toys and loves to play fetch. She would do best with dogs who are well balanced, easy going . If we move forward, this will require visiting her at her foster home a few times with her. We are happy to talk more about this sweet happy girl, and we want to make sure you are on board for even the times that Gidget does have an accident or the needs she may need later in life.
