My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Goose! A 6-month-old Australian Shepherd. I am little shy as I was not really socialized as a young pup. But I have come along way with my foster mom and others who have come to work with me. I like to play with other dogs, and I love to run around the yard with my toys and throw them up in the air and catch them. I think that I would do best in a home with another dog to keep me company. I think that I could be a great family dog in a home with slightly older children but could learn about them young kiddo sometimes they move a little fast for me and scares me. I’ve not bothered the cats in my foster home. I'd benefit from an experienced owner, particularly one with a large yard for me to run and play in. I need someone who is going to understand I need slow introductions and slow movement until I learn to trust you. I lived in a kennel situation and had little human contact. I am friendly after getting to know someone, I can be protective at times too. I could benefit from further training, particularly potty-training, which I haven't quite mastered yet. I am still working on learning how to walk on a leash comfortably, but that's something that we can work on. I look forward to meeting you what do you say!
