Welcome our German Wirehair Pointer/ Catahoula Leopard Dog Chocolate Puppies. Their date of birth is 12-09-2021 and there are 3 girls- Bouchard, Fannie Mae and Godiva and 2 boys- Hershey and Nestle. All have been named for yummy chocolates!
We anticipate a lot of interest in this litter. Potential Foster to adopters need to be in the Chicago area due to blood work they will need at 8 months old due to potential tick-borne disease exposure from their mom. Also, because they will not be spayed or neutered until they are 8 months old. Potential adopters need to have safe fenced in traditional fences- no invisible fences and priority will go to those adopters with resident dogs so that the puppies get good socialization.
We have NO IDEA if any have hunting potential so pet homes will have priority. Due to the added expenses involved in helping this litter, we are asking for a $575 Foster to Adopt donation.
