THE BASICS: Maddie is a gorgeous 12 year old, 23 pound Terrier mix. She is spayed and house trained, and is described as friendly and playful by her current family. She will need updated vaccines.

Maddie is in need of a new home because as she ages, she is having a difficult time going up and down the stairs. Her family feels she'd do best in a home with one-level. When left alone, she's done well having free roam on the house.

She has not lived with children, but she has interacted with the owner's grandchildren without incident in the past. She has not lived with dogs and has been shy when meeting them outside the home (she was attacked by a dog in the past and has been hesitant with dogs ever since). No history with cats.
