Nugget is a very special boy! And he is very loving in his own way. It's just he got a late start on socialization with people because he was not rescued as a young kitten. He was about 5 months old when rescued as a stray kitten with a dog food cat stuck on his head. Nugget's estimated date of birth is 8-22-21 and he weighs about 9 pounds. He has a beautiful orange swirl tabby coat and gold eyes! He is a very sweet and cute boy who loves attention and pets on his own terms. He is afraid to be picked up and held, but will sleep on the bed with you and come up to you for pets, etc. He will need time to acclimate and get comfortable in his new home and once he knows and trusts you, he will rub up to you, come up to you for petting and sleep on the bed with you! He's looking for a family that is understanding and accepting for who he is and will give Nugget the time he needs to adjust and blossom in his new home. He is looking for a 'furever' quiet, indoor only home. He loves being able to spend time in an outdoor catio and, therefore, a home with a catio would be ideal! He gets along with other cats and dogs. Nugget is healthy and has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is microchipped.
