My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amos joined the ECCHA family from Jackson County with several of his friends. Amos is estimated to be around 8 years old and is neutered. Amos is very noticeable as soon as you walk into the cat colony room. He is not small coming in at 17 pounds. He also is an orange tabby compared to his friends in colony of other color patterns. You may also trip over him because he insists on rubbing against your legs just to make sure you know he is there for pets. He does find confidence in being with other cats and we recommend he have a feline friend or two for sure. If you do not have another cat, you are in luck as ECCHA offers a companion cat fee. When you adopt two or more cats your second cat is half the normal adoption fee. Amos' adoption fee is $60. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and microchipped! Visit www.eccha.org to complete our application online by clicking on a specific pet or the generic dog/pup or cat/kitten.

Approve Application

We will review your application and ask questions to help you and your family find the best fit. You will receive emails to keep you updated

3.
Meet the Pet

Approved applicants will be contacted to schedule a meet and greet either at the shelter or with the foster family.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Your application is approved, your pet is picked, you are ready to adopt. Sign our contract and pay the adoption fee to bring your pet home.
