Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is Bonnie and my foster mom is guessing I’m a Pointer/ Australian Cattle Dog (blue/ red heeler) mix. I show some personality traits between the 2 breeds but of course a simple DNA test will be more accurate for anyone wanting to know for sure. I’ve been training with my foster mom for 7 weeks now and I’m happy to say I have more confidence than I ever had before. I’m patiently waiting for my furever home as I would LOVE one for myself preferably with no children in the home (they tend to make a lot of noise, throw things, pull my tail, and move really fast which scares me and I’ll hide). I’m a medium sized doggo (about 50 lbs give or take) that LOVES snuggling/ cuddling, a fenced yard to run around in, belly rubs, laying on the couch, watching tv, shredded chicken (my favorite treats), walks around the neighborhood/ downtown/ stores, hiking, running (not for very long though ?), and naps… lots of naps ?. I will alert you when I have to potty because I’m a classy lady that likes to go outside during that time. I’m crate trained as well and will occasionally go in one on my own. My foster mom no longer closes the door to my crate so I have free roam of the house whether she’s there or not. I will not destroy anything in your home or use the facilities inside your home. I will just lay on the couch or bed and nap until your return. To keep me from ingesting anything dangerous, she will move the trash can and anything that could cause me harm out of my reach (I do sometimes get curious about the trash can ?). Whenever you return home, I will happily greet you with my butt wiggle, and tail throwing dance with an occasional bow I do from time to time. I can be in a home with/ without another dog in the house. We’ll just have to properly introduce ourselves to each other to make sure we’ll get along ok.
As for my training, I know basic obedience commands such as:
• sit
• down
• come
• heel
• wait/ stay
• leave it
• place
I am currently being trained with an e-collar (mini educator brand) for off leash obedience. If interested in adopting me, my foster mom recommends that I meet you several times to get comfortable with you. During those visits you will be educated on how to properly use all the training tools that I’m currently being trained with and also get to participate in my training sessions so I can learn to listen to you rather than my foster mom. I’m hoping my furever home is currently reading my bio and will consider me. I think I covered everything you should know about me, but if you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to call the rescue so they can put you in contact with my foster mom.
Hope to meet you soon,
Bonnie (aka Bon-Bon) ? ?
