 Blossom is another character from the cartoon series Powerpuff girls - remember Buttercup? In case you are not familiar, in this series, Professor Utonium was trying to create the "perfect little girl" using a mixture of "sugar, spice, and everything nice". However, he accidentally spilled a mysterious substance called "Chemical X" into the mixture, creating three girls and granting all three superpowers. Blossom is the leader of the Powerpuff Girls. She is the most mature and acts as if she were the oldest. She is best known for her intelligence and determination. 

We think that our Blossom, previously named Mazikeen, has the superpower of making people fall in love with her too, just like Buttercup! We've all definitely fallen in love!

Blossom ended up in the shelter when her owner was evicted and had no place to live. That is such a sad thing for everyone concerned.   She turned 1 in January, and is 94 pounds, and will likely get just a bit bigger! We believe her to be a Cane Corso or Presa Canario, or a mix, and she is a stunner! She has blue brindle coat, giant feet and a puppy disposition. If she doesn't go home with our Director   , she's going to make someone very, very happy!!
