Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Pollie and I was born in mid-June 2009. I was found by a man who didn't know too much about cats, so he washed me in Woolite and fed me wet bread. Luckily, that didn't last too long before he brought me to Whiskers & Wags. One look at me and the nice ladies decided that I needed to stay. They noticed that I had a very bad upper respiratory infection and runny, infected eyes. First stop, the vet!
On first glance, you might notice that I look a little different. You see, despite lots of attention and care, one eye infection never went away and the vet believes that damage is now permanent. Either way, this doesn't slow me down - I still love to run and play with all of my other kitty housemates. My foster mom says I have a super-personality and get along with everyone, even the dogs who also live in the house! In addition to all the usual kitten-play, I love to settle down for a nice rub and nap in a warm human lap.
Come meet Pollie at one our adoption events. She is sure to make a winning impression and be just the kind of kitty companion you have been looking for!
