Meet Bullet, a s 3-year-old Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix who is looking for his forever home! Bullet is a beautiful dog with a striking coat. Our boy may take a moment to warm up, but once he does he has a friendly personality with the biggest and goofiest smile. He loves to play and go for walks, and he's always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. Bullet is currently being fostered with both dogs and cats and gets along great with everyone. His favorite foster family member is his big brother, they are completly inseperable. He is a great companion for other dogs and would do well in a home with other pets.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

Go meet their pets

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
