Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harvey came to his current foster home from a dog hoarding situation. He was one of twenty-two dogs on the property which had been abandoned one month prior to their rescue. He was very underweight due to having worms and he was being picked on by the pack when local ladies were coming with food. Over time, Harvey became reactive to other dogs and it’s best for him to be the only dog in the home. Harvey is a very sweet boy to his humans. He loves to cuddle and sometimes he just wants to hang out in the same room with a little distance. He has been learning a lot about receiving love since he never experienced it before and has even started giving hugs and kisses to his foster mom. He is also learning to engage in play with toys and would do excellent with a puzzle mat and training treats. He knows some commands now like sit and come. Harvey is still a work in progress with going outside to potty and is using potty pads for now. He is still practicing how it feels to have a harness on and that it’s safe to explore outside but continued positive praise and encouragement will go far with his progress.
