My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little sweet potato wiggle butt is named Remi. She came from Utah where her family had to give her up when they moved. She had been raised by them since she was a puppy and lived in a household with kids and another dog. She exhibited the drive we look for in our dogs, but ultimately, it was not quite intense enough for our Urban Search and Rescue training program.

She has an energetic enthusiasm for ALL the world has to offer a young dog, not just toys! She is very outgoing and loves a scritch on her behind, even doing a little dance of happiness to show her appreciation. She does love to play fetch too and will do it forever and ever...until the next fun thing comes her way.

We don't know exactly what her homelife was like before she came to us, but she probably didn't have anyone to help her with manners and citizenship skills. Not that she's terribly ill-mannered, she is just a little unschooled. She LOVES to engage, however, so it won't take her long to plug in and learn what you wish to teach her. We've started on some skills with her, but she would love to continue learning with her new family.

She is fit, athletic, strong, lithe and graceful. She is a happy-go-lucky dog that would be even happier if she had that special someone to play with, hike with, learn with and hang out with.
