Ava is a Dalmatian-pit bull cross about 8 years old whose owner suddenly passed away. She's affectionate, outgoing, and low-energy. She loves getting lots of petting, meeting new people, an occasional walk, and crawling into a "den," like a crate or the space under the table for a snooze. She came from a house with her bonded friend, Braulio, and a senior cat named LT. Ava and Braulio are best friends and need a home together. They're house-trained, fixed, and vaccinated. They know the phrases "sit" and "go out." Both are friendly with other dogs and new people and have lived with a cat.
Braulio is an American pit bull terrier mix about 6 years old. He's more reserved but loyal, and curious to explore his world. He'll join Ava in a crate for a long nap, but has more energy to burn off with a good walk or backyard romp. He's very smart and figured out how to unlatch one type of crate gate. They love each other and are ready to love their new humans, too.
