My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Moxie is a sweet girl. She is good with people and dogs, loves her bed and will keep to herself but does get spurts of energy and will get playful and silly. She will greet you at the door when you come home with happy barks and wags. She loves to go for walks but can be a little barky at other dogs while on leash, leash reactivity is something that can be worked with. She also loves to bask in the sun out in the yard. Moxie came to us from a local shelter. We have her listed as special needs. She had a hole in the roof of her mouth that is thought to have been caused by a stick. We had multiple surgeries done to close the hole but unfortunately they did not take. Moxie acts `normal` but this condition can result in nasal discharge and she has bouts of excessive sneezing. So she doesn`t need daily special care but she does have these issues that a potential adopter needs to consider. She has been in foster care and her foster mom would be more than happy to discuss her with a potential adopter.

More about this rescue

Hallie Hill provides sanctuary for abandoned, abused, or neglected animals- a home with food, medical care, shelter, and love. We have many animals who have been considered a little less adoptable by others because of age or lack of socialization. There are many incredible animals at the sanctuary regardless of their past.
