Here's what the humans have to say about me:
‘Little Annie’ is now ‘healthy Annie’ and has come quite a ways since her earlier last fall. This beautiful Bassett Hound is looking for a great home, preferably with an experienced Bassett owner. She does appear to have been in a home in the past and made herself ‘right at home’.
Annie was discovered in a abandoned piecemeal outdoor lot when temperatures were dropping nightly to the low 30’s and winter was setting in. Weighing a mere 26 lbs. upon arrival, she didn’t have sufficient fat to create much body heat.
Today Annie is a beautiful girl with a shiny coat who gets along very well with her sibling canine companion and is 40 lbs. She does very well in the crate and has been checked out medically. In addition to getting along well with her canine siblings, Annie also loves her big and small human companions, does well on leash and sleeps well in her crate.
