Hello, my name is Horise!

My Foster Mom calls me an "Old Soul". I love nothing more than a warm lap, snuggles. I am quiet and low-key.

I'm very shy at first, very uncertain with men. My Foster Mom thinks I may have had a very bad experience with a male person.

I would love to be the only pup in the home, so that I may focus solely on my person. I tolerate others but would love my very own FEMALE person.

I do well on walks, would be best with older children because I'm fearful of quick movements. I am still learning manners and to trust people, can be stubborn at times. I am very food motivated.

If you are looking for a calm companion, and will give me time to feel comfortable, I am your boy!
