Meet Dempsey! Not to be confused with Patrick Dempsey, although it's easy to do because he's also a good looking fella. This 4 legged Dempsey is just the sweetest. He is the go to dog for new volunteers to walk on their first dog walking shift. He's the perfect combination of energy and affection. He loves to go for a nice walk but is just as happy spending time getting loved on as well. He's been working on his fetch skills, he's got the chasing the ball part and picking it up down and is slowly understanding bringing it back and dropping it. He's a fun guy to hangout with if you have a yard, he'd run around and give a nice sploot while he chews on a tennis ball. While being an office dog he LOVED to hangout and snooze in the crate without being told to go in so it seems this boy loves a good crate. Dempsey is just an easy going guy looking for a family to call his own! If you are interested in meeting Dempsey, come on down to the shelter today because this guy has been overlooked for far too long!
