My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The “Friends” Aussie-mix litter is 11 weeks old and ready to go! It’s anybody’s guess what they are mixed with, as we’ve not seen the parents, but from the size of their feet, they are going to be 50+ pound dogs in about a year. They now range from 12-16 pounds.

These pups had a very rough start. The hungry, sick, dirty 6-week-old pups were dumped at a boat dealership in Corsicana Texas. An employee took them to the local shelter, where ASF took over on New Year’s Eve, and their luck changed! They have a caring foster mom and dad, and a surrogate dog mom too! Glinda stepped up and nurtured, trained, played with, and loved them like they were her own pups!
After many trips to the vet, medications, medicated baths, vaccines and preventives, they are now healthy, happy, and ready for their furever homes! They know the routines, sounds and smells of a home – vacuum cleaner, sweeping and mopping, television, blow dryer, car rides, etc. They eat, sleep, wrestle, and beg for attention. They follow a fairly strict routine for eating and potty, play time, and crate and pen time. The routines are set, now an adopter just needs to carry on!
The pups have tails and dew claws. Their vet said dew claws may safely be taken care of at the time of neuter surgery. Adopters are required to plan for neuter at around 6 months.

Ross is all black, long-haired fluff with brown eyes! He’s the most vocal about wanting to be let out, and is curious and friendly. His coat is very soft, and he’s very accepting of bath, blow dry and brushing. A little feisty when being medicated. Glinda loves licking inside his ears, and he soaks up the attention! He might be her favorite, or his ears might need the most cleaning?? He’s very sweet.

Joey is the largest of the pups. He is the darkest short-haired blue merle with very expressive light brown eyes. He is the most chill and laid back of the pups. He’s quite independent, not always in the pack. He loves a game of tag and tug! He is a good natured boy who likes everyone!

Chandler is a medium fluff blue merle with light brown eyes. He is the smallest of the males. He is smart, friendly and curious, and is the play instigator! First to steal a toy and start a game of tag! Or steal your heart with his sweet freckled raccoon face!

Monica is short-haired brown/blue merle, with light brown eyes. She is leopard spotted, with super cute freckles! She is by far the most outgoing and friendly of all the pups, and the most vocal of the females. Super curious, fearless, leader of the pack. She and Phoebe are the most Velcro, always nearby.

Rachel is the smallest. She is super soft and fluffy long-haired blue merle, with two different colored eyes. She’s very pretty. She bumps you for petting, and is very sweet and curious. A little stubborn about coming when called if she is busy looking for bugs and acorns. This girl just wants to have fun!

Phoebe is the largest of the girls. She is half white, half blue merle, with blue eyes and a pink nose, toes and toenails! She is a little shy and quiet, warms up slowly to strangers, but is great once she knows you. She loves the dog bed, playing with toys, and is food motivated. She and Monica are the most Velcro, always nearby. Phoebe absolutely adores her surrogate dog mom, and might do best in a home with another dog. Maybe adopt one of her litter mates with her!
