My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patience was rescued from a construction site located near the Los Algodones border on the United States side off of the Quechan Indian reservation. Patience was completely feral when rescued. She was completely fearful of human touch and required us to catch her in a trap. She has been working with her foster family and our director, and has become much more friendly but still has work to be done. Southern Dog Training is working with Patience to improve her training. She would do best in a quiet calm home that understands her needs and will give her the time she needs to come around on her own terms but also on a consistent schedule with high expectations for her progress. She kennels well and will let you know if she needs something. She would possibly do good with another calm disinterested dog but does not prefer overly active dogs who get in her face. She loves food and is very treat motivated. She is housebroken for going potty outside. Patience likes to explore and will be adopted out with her GPS collar tracker and her years subscription to the app. She prefers to be walked on a leash and brought back inside until she understands and trusts her new family. Patience is a true rescue dog with a heart of gold and is waiting for just the right family to give her time to show you what a true gem she is.
