My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Ryan is a shy with people does well with his pack friends. Ryan was left out side when his owners moved. He was on his own for about 11 months when animal control finally caught him. No one could touch him. He has come a long ways but needs someone who understands that it will take time for him to warm up to them. He does sit on my lap now and will sit next to someone he knows. He is an extreme flight risk until he can trust the person he is with.  He would do well if he has a playmate his size. He needs an experienced owner. He is not overly affectionate but loves to come on my lap and loves his back rubs and head scratchs. He also needs a secure fenced yard. He does not do well on a leash. Only experienced people with this type of dog will be considered for Ryan. Will not answer any emails just applications will be reviewed and considered. Ryan does not do well out side his environment. Needs someone who will be with him most of the time so he can start to feel secure not taken on trips or watched by other people. It will take time and he will come around to be a wounderful companion.

More about this rescue

Furever Home Rescue is a new rescue that offers another chance to animals that were no longer wanted or has been abandoned at shelters. We rescue and care for them with love, patience and rehabilitation so they can to become amazing companions.

Although we do specialize in dogs in the working and herding groups we are NOT a breed specific rescue.

We save dogs because we believe they deserve to live the rest of their lives with love and dignity. We are advocates for all dogs who cannot be advocates for themselves. Our dogs are in foster homes or boarded until permanent homes can be found for them. With your generous assistance, we can provide care, nurturing, and rehabilitation to these and other animals that otherwise would not have made it out of area shelters.

Please help us help them by Donating Today!
