KRISTY is an absolute doll. Very sweet and loving; loves attention; gets along with all the other dogs; leaves the cats alone. We are working on the house training. We think she is about 5-6 yrs old and weighs 8#. She is a GREAT deal...great personality; spay and dental done; up to date on vaccinations...AND... HEARTWORM NEGATIVE!!! She is not an excessive barker/yapper. Because of her small size, I would NOT put her with a family with small children...too easy for children and dog to get hurt.
Also, as an added plus to Kristy's medical history, this rescue already had a dental done on her so now she has bright, shiny teeth. She did have to have 4 small teeth removed but she has a clean bill of health now and doing great!
This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption with transport in February. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heartworm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period."

After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from the the rescue or the foster. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at gingerdog@live.com for technical program help. This is ONLY if you have computer problems with the application.
Adoption Fees
The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heartworm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting.
All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog.
HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters.
