Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bruce is a total sweetheart and absolutely loves people. He has been around kids and does well with them too, not too playful but respectful of them and gentle. He loves spending time outside lounging in the sun, chasing squirrels and lizards and just watching the world go by. Bruce is house trained and crate trained. He lived in an apartment setting and did well, he doesn't need a ton of activity or exercise and is happy to lounge around the house after a good walk. He can pull hard on a leash, especially if a creature catches his eye, but does well with a no-pull harness. Bruce knows sit, down, wait and shake. He rides nicely in the car. He might jump from excitement when meeting new people but settles down quickly and will lean in for a pet.
He should not go home with cats, as his prey drive is pretty high. He has sometimes run straight into a fence chases rabbits or squirrels, once he sees something he wants to chase he's determined to catch it!
Bruce has gone to dog parks and done fine. He just wants to co-exist with other dogs, he is not interested in playing and having a dog buddy. He would be fine co-existing in a home with another dog, just isn't looking for a playmate. If another dog persists and tries to play with him or pushes him he can get a little growly, but if left alone he's good with other dogs around. Not reactive if passing other dogs etc.
