Here's what the humans have to say about me:
COURTESY POST - ALMO, KY
This beautiful boy is Tripp. He is a 6 year old male Australian Shepherd. He is neutered and housebroken.
Tripp needs a very specific home. He has always been a high-strung quirky boy. He loves some dog’s but it takes him time to be comfortable with them. Other dogs he just doesn’t like at all. Because of this, he would do best as an only dog in the home. Tripp is extremely high energy and needs lots of room to run and play as he never seems to run out of energy, like ever. An active home that would engage with him and help him burn off that energy would be perfect.
Tripp absolutely LOVES his people but has extreme stranger danger with those he does not know. He barks like crazy until we can get him to calm down. He lives in a home with an electric fence, and when the battery dies he likes to run around and harass the other dogs in the neighborhood. He has a lot of anxiety. He loves to ride in the car, but whines due to over stimulation and excitement.
Trip loves to play fetch and cuddle with his people. He absolutely loves playing outside, running around, and barking at anything that moves. He is an excellent alarm system and takes keeping his people safe very seriously. He is house/potty trained. He needs a good home with a lot of land that fits his hyper needs and is willing to accept him for the hot mess express that he is.
The ideal home for Tripp would be living on a farm or ranch where there are no close neighbors for him to bother and no other dogs. He would thrive in an environment with little foot traffic in the home. We know that the perfect home is out there for Tripp and he really deserves it. He really is a loving boy who loves his people and will thrive in the right environment. If you think that you are that person, please email the owner Julie at:
