Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Stormi! I am a 1 year old, petite, 33 pound, mountain cur mix. See my DNA test results in the photos! I was sitting in a rural shelter, in pain with a dislocated elbow, and my leg was just hanging. Keelys Friends Dog Rescue saved me and took me to a specialist, who said that amputation was my only choice. I was already use to walking on three legs, so adjusting after the amputation was easy peasy!
My foster mom says I am awesome! I am super affectionate, and I love to curl up in your lap or flop over for some belly rubs! I walk great on the leash, and I love to go for car rides! I will hop right in and I'm ready to go.
I won’t be running marathons, but I do love to take walks, stretch my legs with a few good runs around the backyard and chase a ball! A fenced yard would be perfect for me to do that!
Right now I am in a foster home with other dogs, but I really would prefer to be your one and only. I am not dog aggressive, but I can be dog selective. So being your one and only sounds like the perfect solution! As you can see in my picture, I do have a really good dog friend at my foster home.
I have not been around cats, but I’m pretty sure cats are purchasing!
