Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Banjo, a handsome 2 year old, 9 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Georgetown, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered for adoption
Initial Bio/1/21 Meet Banjo a 2-3 year old 9 lb Yorkie mix boy that is full of life, laughter and fun. Banjo was a stray that was taken into a shelter after someone noticed he had been roaming around for about 3 months. Banjo came into foster needing a good grooming but other than that was in excellent condition. Foster mom has observed that he goes to the door and cries to go out the front door so it may be that he was let out to do his business then came home when he was ready. He is sweet, lovable, excellent with other dogs, potty trained (only 1 day of accidents) , wants to be in your lap, loves car rides, greets and loves strangers, great on a leash, sleeps next to foster mom all night. Banjo has all shots up-to-date, and will be going for his neutering on 1/31 and a gentle dental. His teeth are in excellent condition as well as his coat. He is golden in color and when his coat is longer his back is light gray with a little black.
The ideal family for him would be a very active one that can do lots of walks and ball throwing, even a family that likes to camp and go on trips. He went for a long walk today and then went to a dog park where he played and chased the ball and never wore out. He cried when he had to leave. This is an adorable loving boy that needs a lot of outdoor activity so an apartment or condo wouldn't be a lifestyle that would be good for his desire to be outside a lot of the time. He hasn't been around children in his foster home but when he is on walks or at the park he runs up to young children and gets excited. Because of his small size it would be best if children in the family were 12 and older.
Banjo will be available for adoption the middle of February after his neuter. family. Please go to UNITEDYORKIE.org to complete an application if you think this special boy will be a perfect fit for your family.
