My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rayna's story starts harsh but has switched to a happier one. She was born at a local cat colony in Greenville SC. Sadly she knew only of a man that randomly would show up and put food out for her and another dozen or so cats. He fell ill in late Oct and we stepped in to help this colony. We have cared for them every day since and managed to trap and spay/neuter 4 of them, Rayna being the latest. While she was recovering at her fosters, she began to show very positive cat behavior and responded to human touch nicely. After a few weeks of working with her, she was lounging in her lap, letting her dress her in clothes and displaying very happy vocal tones :) She was the only adult with 6 kittens of various age groups and did wonderfully with them. At that time, we made the decision not to release her back outside and work extremely hard at finding her the inside home he so deserved. Rayna is under a year, she is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated for Rabies, FVRCP and she has been combo tested, she's negative and has had 2 felv vaccines as well. She may do well with a small, older dog, she has been fine with a puppy so far.
Rayna has a slight tip off her left ear, this is to identify her in a colony that she has been spayed and not to trap her again. We hope that will not discourage anyone, we think it is a badge that says she had a rough start, but things are different for me now :)
