PLEASE scroll down and read the ENTIRE BIO. It is lengthy but has ALL INFO we know. Emailing and asking for more info is only going to hold up your process and risk your chances of the dog you want being gone. TOTO is in SALEM, Ohio. SHE is fully vetted including spay/rabies/Bordetella/parvo distemper vaccine/worming/heartworm lyme test/heartworm-flea prevent while in rescue. We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval.
FULLY VETTED ADOPTION FEE is: $150
** PLEASE NOTE: Since we are a shelter, the majority of our dogs have not had the luxury of a foster home. As a result, what we post in reference to their behavior, temperament, likes/dislikes etc is only what we witness here and not in a home atmosphere.
Hi there! My name is Miss Toto (I know, not very original and I wouldn't hate if it was changed), I am about 3 yrs old and having just recently gained 1lb am now a whopping 9lbs!! That is 9 lbs of pure sass!!! If you are at all familiar with my breed mixes than this should come as no surprise to you! I LOVE hard and I can throw down an attitude just as hard!! Don't even think about trying to take away one of my toys or chews because I will let you know in no uncertain terms just how unacceptable that is! I like to take walks and sit on laps, and I realize that the girls here have noted that I can be testy with other dogs. However, I lived with a dog in my previous "home". But I am a bit growly with other dogs as it all just depends on what mood I happen to be in that day. I think what they are overlooking is the fact that lil ole 9 lb me is currently at a shelter with 7 other rather LARGE dogs so judging me on my dog-on-dog temperament may be a bit harsh, don't ya think?? As far as kids go? Wellll, they don't really seem to understand my need to be treated like the Diva that I am. I do not like to "roughhouse" or be picked up in a quick manner so the folks here think that older or no children would be in everyone's best interest. My potty habits will be a work in progress since my last "owner" kept me either tied outside or tied to the leg of a table inside. Me, outside, tied!!!!!!!! What the heck were they thinking??? Anyhoo, as you can tell, my life up to this point has not been ideal. I would love a nice quiet home where I am the center of attention because, well dammit I deserve that!!!
