Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I am Dory, the honey-colored Harlequin. I am quiet and sweet, but also inquisitive and curious just like Dora, the Explorer. I like to stand up on my hind legs and watch what humans do around me, taking it all in. Humans are fascinating!
I love to be picked up, held, and petted. When I’m out roaming around, I’ll surprise you by hopping right up into your lap to be snuggled. You can also play with me on the floor and I’ll climb all over you. But quick movements, loud noises and dogs barking spook me.
I probably would love a bunny friend in the future when I am past adolescence. Shy bunnies like me really like having a friend of my own species to hang out with and feel safe.
My favorite toys are blankets to dig at and chew and cardboard to shred. I do require good bunny-proofing in my bunny-safe area and digestible objects. I also like to have a cardboard box that I can sit on top of to watch everything; I’m an unusually observant bunny.
My litter box habits are pretty good for a young fellow. If you pile yummy hay in half of my litter box, it helps. I love salad greens and bits of fruit including bananas, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and apples. I’m a healthy eater although I’m on the slim side.
I am one of four joyful Harlequin boys born to Betty who was rescued by MCRS after being abandoned in a city park. My brother Zee and I along with our mom Betty are longing for our forever home.
