Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Knotts
This gorgeous boy is Knotts. Knotts was pulled before he was euthanized for space. So sad these perfectly wonderful dogs could lose their life because there is no space for them and they’ve been let down. But, Knotts has moved on and is a happy boy.
Knotts is a Labrador retriever mix. We just can't believe he has been waiting patiently at our shelter for almost two years. He is now 3 years old, and you just couldn't find a sweeter dog. He’s a great size at about 40 lbs. Knotts loves being with people. He loves people and gives slow motion hugs to just hold on for a snuggle. Knotts loves being with other dogs and is friendly toward cats. He loves to run and play. A containment fence will be a must for Knotts. Knotts will thrive with an active family. He likes to be busy and with a young dog like Knotts, keeping his exercised is important for his and your happiness. Knotts is smart and eager to learn.
If you’re looking for a wonderful young, sweet and friendly young dog, Knotts is a dream.
If interested in Knotts, please submit a dog application online at www.charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org Please call our shelter at 706-865-4135 or email us at smithgallhumanesociety@windstream.net to let us know to be on the lookout. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Adoption policies and application procedures are detailed at the shelter website: http://charlessmithgallhumanesociety.org/ under tab All Adoptable Animals.
Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
