My story

Beautiful, loving, and cuddly bluetick coonhound in need of a foster or a loving fur-ever home. Dixie is approximately 5 years old and will make a very loyal family dog and best friend. She's great with other dogs, ok with cats and is VERY interested in koi fish. This poor girl spent her entire life on a chain and was very neglected and malnourished when she was taken in by her current foster family. In the few weeks Dixie has been with her foster family, she has gained some much needed weight and learned how to trust people again. She has also become crate trained, leash trained, 90% potty trained, and has finally figured out what toys are. Being that she is a hound dog, a fence is necessary due to her strong sense of smell. If you are looking for the perfect addition to your family, this little girl could very well be the one!
