Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Arrival Story: Lulu comes to us from a family who was no longer able to keep her due to a new grandbaby and allergies.
Age / Weight: Lulu weighs 10 lbs. and is 3 years old.
Personality Description: Lulu is a sweet little chihuahua, but like most in her breed, tends to bond with one person. Also, like most chi's she can be fiesty. She is potty trained to go outside and on potty pads. She does not chew and walks well on a leash. Lulu hasn't lived with other pets before so it is unknown how she would be. She seemed to be fine in a brief encounter with another chihuahua that we saw. If given the opportunity lulu will try to be the boss, so she needs a strong owner that will take the alpha role and not allow her to become protective.
Ideal Forever Home: Lulu would do best in a home without children as she has been known to nip when frightened. She also needs a home where the family is willing to work on her manners with strangers and visitors and will not baby her. Please research chihuahua's if you are interested in Lulu because although they are small and cute, they are not babies and need exercise, discipline, and socialization in order to be a balanced dog.
