Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pistachio and Macadamia are the last two of their little family. Pistachio is the female brown/gray tabby and Macadamia is the buff/orange tabby male. They are such a sweet pair and we want to keep them together. They are about 5 months old now. Pistachio is a tiny angel, so beautiful and sweet. She is mostly very calm, and will sit quietly on our lap. But when it's playtime, she becomes unaware that she is so small, and is the most fast and driven chasing around the feather wand. She is extremely bonded to her brother Macadamia, always sleeping and cuddling with him, so they must be adopted together and stay together. They have been raised in foster care since they were just a few weeks old, rescued by their foster mom from outdoor life. They have been carried around in a baby wrap to help socialize them. Someone with cat experience would be best for them, to understand that they still may need patience and continued socialization just because they have to get used to new people since they have been with their foster mom and dad for their whole lives. All cats are at least 8 weeks old at time of adoption, are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated (FVRCP and rabies - if at least 16 wks old), and given a starter dose of flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Adoption fee applies. Adoption application, interview, and home check required to be considered for adoption. No declawing policy and indoor homes only. If interested, please apply at www.rescueangelssomd.com. If pet is listed, he/she is still available.
