My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jambalaya, and I am looking for my forever home. I'm a 2.5 year old pitbull. I was found as a stray with my puppies and put in the local kill shelter. My rescuer found me there in Louisiana. My puppies had all been weened and were safe but noone came for me.. I was on the kill list and about to be put down. She saved my life.
I spent some time in foster care down there and made a lot of friends. I loved spending time with my 4 legged foster friends and running in the yard. They were great. The time came for me to come to NJ and I have been here hanging with my friends at the boarding center ever since. I've been here a few weeks, but no one really seems to be interested in me cause I'm a pittie. I know people don't understand my breed but I really am the best girl.
I know lots of people might want to adopt a big headed goof ball like me. I would really like a family who has energy to keep up with me but also enjoys to snuggle on the couch and watch Netflix. I like other doggies so a home with them, or one where I could still have playdates would be great.

I am decent on a leash and crate trained. I know a few commands but could use some obedience training. I love to jump on people, I'm working on that. I would love some kiddos to but only ones a little older so I don't knock them down. I love to do zoomies in the yard so a fenced yard would be preferred, but not required for me.

I don't really like those furry cat things. I want to eat them so please help me find a forever home without kitties.
