My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My neighbor found this sweet chihuahua in traffic 1/4/22 and he has been with me since. I have posted "found dog" postings on many online sites and at the shelter and put posters up in the neighborhood but no one has claimed him.

I cannot keep him. I took him in assuming that within a day or two a neighbor would claim him as theirs. Now that that hasn't happened, he needs to find a loving, safe home. I hope you can help make that happen

I am quite certain that this sweet guy is deaf. He otherwise seems to be in good health and his eyesight seems to be fine.

This dog's temperament is very calm and he likes people. He does have one behavioral quirk. He paces a lot. It is not in anyway destructive, just a little odd. He eats more than I have ever seen a dog his size eat probably because of all the exercise he gets pacing. He is not house trained but I'm trying to get him pee pee pad trained.

He needs a patient, loving family to call his own.
