Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ROSE – 8-10 yrs. A resilient survivor, approx. 35-40lbs, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations
The reason why ADR.org gave this lady the name ROSE is because of what she went through.
She is a very special. Resilient to hardcore conditions under which she must have lived for months or years, to end up then in the Riverside Shelter high kill shelter - and she did not give up. Her perseverance and will to live was stronger than the adverse conditions.
ROSE was skin and bones when ADR.org pull her from the shelter and went through endless baths (for her yeast infection, and fungal infection), antibiotic cycles, and will be on Thyroid medication for the rest of her life.
ROSE is at a good boarding place in Palmdale, CA where she is kenneled with different dogs. While ROSE is kenneled with all gender dogs, and all sizes of dogs- she is selective who she likes.
But aren’t we that way, too?
The ideal home situation would be a calm (non-multiple family person, hectic household), environment, where she can access a fenced and secured area when she wants, but not exclusively outside- even with another 4-legged friend but all the time. We do not think she will be good with cats.
She will enjoy walks and bonding with a Human that she feels, cares for her.
ROSE can be visited @ the boarding facility after a visit has been arranged with the owners/staff. If you are interested in this wonderful girl, please email ADR.org at adr@animaldefenserescue.org (so you can receive an electronic application) or call 206-313-0950 to speak with the founder of ADR.org, WA.
