My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Rocky, the blue-eyed lover boy. Rocky is a Papillon mix, with drop ears like the Phalene variety of Papillon, but because he has blue eyes and bow legs we believe he is part mini-Dachshund. He weighs 7 and is 3-7 years old.

Rocky is super affectionate. He loves to be cuddled and carried around but he is also lively and playful. He has the curiosity of a smart dog, which is typical of Papillons. He adores everyone he meets, including children.

Rocky likes to be the center of attention and would do best as an only dog. He is not good with cats. He appears to have been trained to potty pads but he misses sometimes and is not totally housetrained.

Rocky is crate-trained and good on a leash. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, has a clean bill of health from a vet and has had his teeth cleaned.

We adopt only in San Diego, Orange and some parts of Riverside Counties (sorry no exceptions). We do a home visit and reference checks. If you are interested in meeting Rocky, please email paprescuesocal@gmail.com for an adoption application.
