PLEASE scroll down and read the ENTIRE BIO. It is lengthy but has ALL INFO we know. Emailing and asking for more info is only going to hold up your process and risk your chances of the dog you want being gone. BUDDY is in SALEM, Ohio. HE is fully vetted including neuter/rabies/Bordetella/parvo distemper vaccine/worming/heartworm lyme test/heartworm-flea prevent while in rescue. We do not ship dogs, we do not transport dogs, we do not hold dogs. You must be ready to adopt within 72 hours upon approval.
FULLY VETTED ADOPTION FEE is: $125
** PLEASE NOTE: Since we are a shelter, the majority of our dogs have not had the luxury of a foster home. As a result, what we post in reference to their behavior, temperament, likes/dislikes etc is only what we witness here and not in a home atmosphere.!!
WHOOOO HOOOO!!! It's my turn.... finally!! Although in all fairness, I haven't slowed down enough for the folks here to take good pics of me. That should tell you the first and most important thing about me,,,,,I LOVE to play!! Contrary to what some think when first meeting me, I am a young boy (approx 18 months old & 41lbs). Just because I have a gray muzzle does NOT mean I am a senior citizen!! Sheesh, you humans can be so judgy, things are not always as they appear! I am quite the affectionate guy and love giving kisses and hugs. I am what you might refer to as a "lady's man-dog" you female humans are so warm and cuddly, Men?? well, I have not had the best interactions with several in my past life and as a result it takes me some time to warm up to them, especially if they have hats on!!?? But with the right amount of treats and patience, it has been shown that I can be just as much a "man's man-dog". My breed mix dictates that I am rather high strung and will require a home that LOVES excitement, exercise and cuddling!! I get along with other dogs and will try to play with them right outta the gate. So, if you have other doggies, they must be ready for some action. I will need basic work like leash walking and crate training. I i enjoy car rides and as you can see in my picture, toys toys toys!!! It is unanimous that I would make an excellent agility dog and I absolutely LOVE playing Frisbee!! Would do it alllll day if I had someone to join in....maybe that's you?? If you have a home that is not one of those lazy, lay around the house kinda homes than I'm your guy!! Get on line and fill out that application!! love, buddy xoxoxo
