My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Chicken Little and I am a male conure hybrid and I am 3 years old.  I am loud and hand shy but have been able to step up in the past. I love pineapple and watermelon.  I like to play with toys and chew up toys and nod my head and dance.  I tend to bite now since I have been here a while and was used to being out of my cage a lot. My adoption fee is $100.

Our birds are not available for breeding and we do not ship birds, so you must travel to our south Kansas City area facility. Potential adopters must email us at BurgeBirdRescue@yahoo.com for an appointment, fill out an adoption application, and pass a screening interview to ensure that our birds are going to a safe home. There is usually a 48 hour waiting period after your interview before you are allowed to adopt because we want people to take time and think through their decision. All birds come with a 30 day health guarantee and return policy, and have been examined and tested by our avian veterinarian.
