Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Chloe. She is a 15-month-old Mountain Cur Mix. She has a short hair coat and weighs 40lbs. She was found as a stray. Chloe is a very smart and loving girl. She enjoys playing with dogs of all sizes but can play rough with them when she gets excited with them. One of he favorite things is playing out in the snow with her foster families' dogs followed by a good meal. She is very typical of the Mountain Cur breed. She will bond quickly with her family and protect them all from harm's way. Her recall is very good in a fully fenced area. Her finder says she is very good with children. We do not believe she would do well with cats due to her breed mix. Chloe is housebroken, as well as paper trained. Chloe is a quiet gal unless she is outside playing chase with the other dogs. She is not too bad on a leash but will require further leash work in her new home. Chloe loves to eat so we must measure her food out twice daily. She will go in a crate but a crate is not necessary for her. As long as she has chew toys etc to play with she is not destructive in the home. Her temperament is very sweet. She is very social with everyone. She loves to give kisses. She also rides well in a vehicle. The ideal home for Chloe is one with a family that spends time with her each day, working with her on her leash training and continued socialization. We would recommend if there are children in the home, they should be 10 years plus. She would do fine with another socialized dog as long as they are not an alpha dog. Chloe is spayed, up to date with vaccines, heartworm tested negative, treated for parasites, on heartworm flea tick prevention from October to November, and is microchipped. A fully fenced yard, a cat-free home, and a Veterinarian History of Compliance are mandatory to apply for Chloe.
