My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chief is a 8 year old Male Brindle greyhound. He is not cat tolerant.

Hi, everyone! I'm a sweet senior with a lot of energy. I love to play with my younger foster sister - we play with the "noisy" pookies (those cute fuzzy toys) and I have a really loud squeaky football (drives foster mom crazy!) Foster mom takes us on a nice half-mile walk every morning - we walk very nicely together - foster mom is rather pleased with that. I'm greyt with a routine and love treats. Foster sis and I free-feed - we munch along when we're hungry, but I'd be OK with whatever routine you might have.

I love a daily run in the back yard with my foster sis - she's full of energy, so we go round and round. I know the NO word - anything I'm not supposed to do or have, and I get a really loud NO. I don't get on the furniture or mom's bed (mom says that's good). I am OK with cats - that is I'm playful, so you would have to correct me if I get too rough - I learn fast. I love to be brushed - it really makes me feel good and tingly all over. Oh, and I don't mind if you clean my ears and brush my teeth. I love to ride in the car and even take the corners good! My foster sister and I are always underfoot with mom - she's a quilter, so naturally we want to help put those pieces together - when she moves around, we all three move with her. We just want to be with our person - when mom finally settles down in the evening for a TV program or two, we snooze at her feet.

So to sum this all up - I am a loveable, sweet boy who would love a forever home with my special person(s). Other greyts/dogs are appreciated. Won't you let me come into your home and be my forever family? :-)
