My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lexi is a five year old female chihuahua mix who weighs 10#s. She is spayed, completely healthy, and heart worm negative. She has a charming mask on her face, and could be called, Bandit. She is well trained to pads, and will also go outdoors to potty.

When first meeting her, Lexi can seem aloof. It is important to let her be the decision maker about when to come to you. In her foster home, she was allowed to keep her distance for a couple of days. Then, poof, her sweet personality appeared. Now, she loves sitting in the chair with one of her foster parents, and will happilly sleep in the bed with them, or, will crawl under a quilt on the sofa. Lexi enjoys car rides and neighborhood walks.

Lexi will be a terrific companion, a long as you do not expect her to jump in your lap when she first meets you. When she decides you are her person, you will have a velcro dog.
