Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi All, it is me the very sweet and pretty AUCKLAND! People who meet me think I am very special – of all the puppies born to my Mommy, I look the most like her. I am 2 months old and I was born in the beautiful province of Ontario. As a puppy, I have your typical puppy behaviours. With great positive reinforcement training, I know I’m going to be a great adult dog who will light up your family with love and fun times. I think I will like going to training classes with my new family – I have been told it is fun, a wonderful way to show people how smart I am, and a bonding experience with my family.
I am one of the smallest of the litter – I may grow to about 50LBs (but who knows for sure). I may be one of the smallest, but I think I’m one of the sweetest. I’m enjoying being able to go outside now, even with all this snow. While I’m not housetrained, I do seem to know when I’m outside, I can go potty (and does my Foster Family get excited when I do – they are funny!). I’m an energetic girl who loves playing and running around outside with my siblings. Just so you know, I need another active larger dog I can play and be best friends with in my home.
I’m not fond of the crate but will go in it for a very short time – the door is left open so I can come and go as I please. As a puppy I’m going to chew, whine to get your attention, puppy nip and probably jump. If you are an experienced dog owner who has raised puppies, you will know this is all typical puppy behaviour – good positive training will teach me how to be the best girl ever. I do shed so if you don’t like it, then I’m not the one for you. I believe I like kids but they need to understand puppy behaviour and not get too upset if I puppy nip or jump – I’m not trying to hurt anyone, I just need to learn my boundaries. I would be OK with another dog in the home who would probably be the same size or a little bigger than me – but the resident dog would need to tolerate my puppiness until I learn my manners.
I need a home with a fenced in backyard, where I can run around and play with you. I will enjoy going on walks, too. NO condos for me due to my occasional special vocal sound, and activity level. Since I have some hound in me, you will hear it in my voice as I call you for some attention. All is good, I just want you to love me.
This is what my Foster Family says about me: “Auckland is curious, intelligent, playful, and a sensitive girl. Auckland absolutely love cuddles and giving kisses! She is a really good jumper and think I may even like some agility training. Auckland’s ideal home will be with an active family who likes to be on the go. She would be happy in a home as an only dog or with others, but would prefer siblings who aren’t too aggressive. Auckland is a people pleaser and would be happy with a family of all ages. As a side note, her face is so darn cute! She is going to be a very special addition to a loving family who will provide her love, patience and good training. She will not disappoint you!”
So, do I sound adorable or what? Like what you read about me, then hurry up and put in the application for me. I can hardly wait for you to find me, and I promise I will be a loving and fun addition to your home.
Lots of Love, Auckland
XOXO
