Avivia was a puppy that was with us when she was just a couple of months old. She was found on the street and was adopted soon after. The person that adopted Avivia, (changed her name to Luna) suddenly lost her home due to the pandemic. Losing her home, she wasn’t able to give Luna the care she deserved and decided to surrender her. During this time Luna has learned some basic commands. Luna is very sweet but shy. She needs time to get used to new people but once she gets familiar, she’s very friendly and energetic. Being a slightly fearful dog, she does indeed take time to familiarize herself among new people and surroundings. Ever since her puppy-hood, one of her biggest fears has been men. We are not sure what could have happened to her in her early life, but as of now, her fear still remains. She has gotten better at trusting people and is comfortable around anyone that takes the time to accommodate her. She has not been tested with children but she does get along with other dogs.
