My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Venus is a character! She was rescued from a park but seemed to resent indoor life initially-- hiding under the bed and hissing... now the world indoors is her oyster! She enjoys petting on her own terms, she’ll raise her paw to give you a swat if the session lasts too long, but she’ll sit near you and sleep with you any chance she gets.
If you’re gone too long, upon your return she’ll leap through your home like a baby goat and then play with her toy balls until she finally remembers she’s hungry. Should this cuteness overload create in you an overwhelming urge to show her affection, just remember her rules about petting, or she’ll start to nibble and swat, her idea of returning your love.
Her version of fun is to pounce on your feet as you walk past and then she runs away!
And just when you wonder why on God’s green earth she’s actually won your heart, she reminds you that she’s petrified of everything, grateful for anything, the most undemanding, low-maintenance gal who just doesn't want anything to change, and was probably abandoned :( She'll sleep with you and talk to you, and practice yoga with you :)
Venus is about 3 years old and is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
