Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Troy!
Troy is currently the smallest and spiciest of this litter. He is very confident, but still a bit weary. Let's just say he still has a bit of wild kitten spunk to him. He is getting more and more trusting everyday, but takes it at his own pace. If you are willing to care for a kitten who will come around but simply needs a bit of time to do so, Troy is your man! He will learn to trust you and be your best friend with a little patience and care. He likes to be petted, just as the rest of his siblings do, but still is a bit skittish upon approach.
Troy was living outdoors in a heap of scrap metal and other trash with his 4 siblings. Mom was nowhere to be found as the kittens were 4 weeks old, just old enough to be on their own. Stray Paws Animal Haven, our partner rescue organization, received a call about the kittens and sent one of their dedicated volunteer trappers out to get them. She cut her leg getting them out, but was able to save them all.
The kittens had severe eye infections, as the majority of stray kittens do. Some of their eyes were so infected they were completely crusted and sealed shut. Troy was one of them.
The kittens were taken directly to a wellness clinic where their eyes were cleaned and medicated. Luckily, a foster was available and they were put into a home that night. There they grew into the beautiful, sweet kittens they are today.
Troy is currently living in a foster home with many kittens, and would love a family of his own where he can be the center of attention. This would be a huge help to get him out of his shell. He loves to play and climb, and wrestle with his siblings. He is shorter than the rest of his litter, with short, stumpy, cute little legs.
Troy needs to be adopted into a home with another playful dog or cat, as he is still a small kitten.
